Christmas Market

Experience the authentic Christmas market at Torvet, featuring charming wooden cabins selling a variety of festive goods. Take home beautiful Christmas decorations and ornaments, indulge in delicious treats at the Glühwein bar, and satisfy your cravings at the different food stalls. Some of the cozy cabins are open daily, offering glühwein, æbleskiver (Danish pancake puffs), roasted almonds, klejner (traditional Danish fried pastries). The remaining cabins are open on weekends.

Night Watchman’s Tour

Christmas Treasures, Flea Market Finds, and Hidden Gems
We celebrate a sustainable Christmas with recycled and upcycled treasures, vintage and retro finds, antique Christmas decorations, festive table linens, traditional Danish Christmas elves (nisser), glass ornaments, books, and flea market discoveries with a story to tell.

Big Band Ribe Christmas Concert

Big Band Ribe is ready to kick off the Christmas season with a repertoire bursting with swinging arrangements of festive Christmas classics. You’re guaranteed to get into the Christmas spirit, when the orchestra takes the stage at Ribe Cathedral School.
